Meet the Artist
Welcome to my world of beadwork, where each piece is crafted with care! I’m an artist based in Melbourne, Florida, who found my calling with beadwork back in 2019. My journey began at the Native Rhythms Festival, where I attended a workshop on flat stitch beadwork taught by the talented Joyce Bugaiski. Little did I know that this workshop would spark a deep love for beaded wearables and art that would lead me to first place in the 2022 Native Rhythms Festival Art Competition!
My work is all about the details. I handcraft every earring, bracelet, and necklace using the finest Miyuki glass seed beads from Japan. Each piece I create combines color, texture, and design with the joy of making something beautiful. Whether you’re treating yourself or searching for the perfect gift, my jewelry is designed to add a smile to your life.
I’m also honored to be a part of the global beading community as a "Group Expert" in an international Facebook Beading group. Sharing my knowledge and connecting with fellow beaders is a source of inspiration and growth for me. I hope my creations inspire you too, and that you find something in my shop that resonates with your own personal style and spirit.
Anne’s Beadwork is veteran-owned. Anne retired from the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserve after 28 years of service.
Anne placed first in the 2022 Native Rhythms Festival Art Competition held in Melbourne, Florida, with a ten-inch diameter beaded medallion titled “Ursa Emerging”. The yearly Native Rhythms Festival during Native American Heritage Month (November) honors the culture of the indigenous people of the Americas through music, and especially the music of the Native American Flute. Anne herself is not Native American.
The “Ursa Emerging” medallion was designed and beaded by Anne Fay. It is executed in two-needle flat stitch with a peyote stitch edging.
The geometric “Ursa” incorporated into the centerpiece of this design is the trademark of Ursa Major Technologies, Inc. and was used by permission. This was a gift to my younger son who was employed by Ursa Major at the time. Medallion design, copyright, Anne Fay 2022.
